Compliance in the resources sector is genuinely complex — WHS obligations, Mining Act requirements that differ between Queensland, Western Australia, and New South Wales, environmental approval conditions with their own monitoring and reporting schedules, and FIFO workforce management on top. Rostered workforces add their own layer — tracking inductions, certifications, and competency expiries across a rotating crew is a genuine data problem, not just a scheduling one.
